EVOLUTION ACADEMY
Evolution Academy offers unique opportunities for coaches development in cheerleading. We focus on current rules, physiotherapy, and other key areas, bringing training sessions with inspiring experts from both Czech and international cheerleading. Our goal is to support coaches’ growth, strengthen their knowledge and skills, and help move the entire sport forward.

Physiotherapy in cheerleading – compensation
Compensatory exercises help prevent injuries of athletes. Every sport, including cheerleading, regularly overloads certain body segments and joints.
In this course we will cover:
– What compensatory exercise is and how to use it in practice
– How to prevent injuries and what steps to take when an injury occurs
– How to design an effective warm-up and conditioning routine
– What to include in home training
– Demonstrations of compensatory exercises for preschoolers, children aged 6–12, and athletes 12+
– The most common types of pain and injuries in cheerleading and how to prevent and treat them

Our lecturers
Anastasia Maksimova
In June 2024, she successfully completed the judges’ training and passed the certification exams under the International Cheer Union.
A licensed Coach C, long-time JNS Academy instructor, and active cheerleader with over 14 years of experience and 9 years of coaching practice.
She competed as an athlete at the prestigious IASF Worlds in Orlando in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Member of the Czech National Team, 2nd runner-up at the European Championship, and 1st runner-up at the World Cheerleading Championship.
Significant coaching achievements:
1. place at ICU Europeans 2024 – Youth Coed Median.
1. place at ICU Europeans 2025 – Youth Allgril Median.
Veronika Bradlerová
Veronika works as a physiotherapist at the Central Military Hospital in Prague. She graduated with honors (red diploma) in physiotherapy from the Czech Technical University and actively practices in several fields—primarily orthopedics, neurology, and sports.
She has completed numerous courses; among those focused on sports are Clinical Physiotherapy in Sports Practice, Strategies for Pediatric Physiotherapy, Kinesiotaping, Sports Therapy and Injuries, and more.
Veronika served as a physiotherapist for the JNS Thunderbirds national team and has worked with a wide range of athletes—including alpine skiers, hockey players, volleyball players, gymnasts, and cheerleaders.
